| ~Welcome to The Arcana Organization.~ The Arcana are a mysterious organization whose ranks are based on the Major Arcana of Tarot.They consist of mainly Arrancars and a few rare shinigami.Their motives are so far unknown except that they are enemies of both the shinigami and the current Espada.The reason for their animosity towards the Espada is unknown but each member of the Major Arcana ranges from deeply disliking to outright hating them.There is also a Minor Arcana that consists of lower ranking Hollows and adjuchas that serve the Major Arcana,with duties ranging from servants and grunts to scouts,foot soldiers and sacrificial pawns.It has four divisions:The Pentacles,The Swords,The Cups and The Wands.There are 21 members in the Major Arcana,lead by an yet unrevealed person.The motives,plots and goals of this organization are still unknown but they can't be good news neither for shinigami nor the Espada.~Location~The headquarters are located somewhere in Hueco Mundo but where exactly and what they look like is known only to the members of the Arcana.~Point in the story~The Magician,also known as Akkei Sakkaku was encountered in the human world by shinigami and a few Arrancar,revealed to be the one behind the Menos spewing Hollow,called Fura,attack.It appears she was testing its capabilities but for what purpose?Later on a meeting between her and an unknown person took place..trouble is brewing in Seireitei.
~Arcana made their move,invading Soul Society.Department of Research and Development was the true target while Fura and three other Hollows specially created just for this caused havoc,serving as a distraction.Despite Shinigami's efforts 12 devices were taken from the department,vital information concerning the Science Group was taken from the main computer frame,where it was hidden,the original completely erased.Seireitei suffered heavy loses while Arcana retreated with needed materials and only one heavily injured,Mikiru Urame.
~Upon orders from their leader The Death is send to assassinate the Ex-Espada #7,Shiro Asaka.Mission success it is later learned that instead of him truly dying Shiro is purified,awakening as a shinigami in Seireitei a week later.Was this the Arcana leaders intention and if yes,why?
~Akkei Sakkaku manipulates a shinigami named Altria into purifying the Hollow plaguing Mikiru Urame.Fully cured he has now returned to his true self.

The Devil aka Devien De Duende: Assassination section chief.Scientist.~Creating Arcana character~Once you made an account and your character please PM me and I'll tell you a bit of back story and some information only Arcana should know.Below are the names of the cards the ranks are based on,please pick one.Also it's a bit long,read through carefully before deciding on the rank.The numbers do not mean the power levels,so 01-Magician could be weaker then 04-The Emperor,numbers are just there because they are tied with the Tarot. Attributes of the cards should somehow reflect in your character and his/her powers but you are free to take liberties with them.Also,please specify which uniform you wish to wear,though you can wear your own clothes the members are encouraged to wear the uniforms,which can be accessorized as you wish.If you do wear a custom outfit please be sure to wear the Arcana pendant or bracelet to signify your alliance!If you want your character can have special duties..It could be anything you want:research,security,scouting for potential recruits,information
gathering, assassination..etc.Or something else entirely,it's up to you.You can have up to three special duties/jobs and more then one character can have each.Please be sure to mention it in the PM so I can add it here.If you want you can have ties/past history with one of the current characters,just ask them first.^^ Depending on whether your character is a shinigami or an Arrancar please also read character creating paragraph in either Gotei 13 or Las Noches thread.Lastly,a note about Fraccion.Any character can have up to three of them.They can be more powerful then your character but not higher level.So if your level is five then your Fraccion level is also five.This will apply to all Fraccion,not just those of Arcana.
Example:06-The lovers would be two characters.You can have one be main and the other like an NPC you control.They could be actual lovers or twins.The connection with The Devil could manifest in flirting or fighting with that character.This character would be curious and easily swayed by his/her desire of the moment making them unreliable.They'd be friendly and enjoy playing and flirting with enemies before killing them.The element air could manifest as an air/wind based power and Ressureccion. This was just an example.Please feel free to make a character you wish but there must be reasons for them having that particular rank.~This is a list of cards of Major Arcana and what they represent.Please read carefully.Also for more ideas you can easily find pictures on the net.~- Spoiler:
0-The Fool.Card Meaning:The Fool is titled Le Mat in the Tarot of Marseilles, and Il Matto in Italian.These archaic words mean "the madman" or "the beggar".The fool is at the start of a journey,searching for wisdom and experience.The usually white cloths give a chameleon aspect.Represents the mystical cleverness bereft of reason within us, the childlike ability to tune into the inner workings of the world.The flower in the hand shows appreciation for beauty.The Fool has a happy-go-lucky approach to life.01-The Magician-taken by Akkei Sakkaku. Card Meaning:The Magician, The Magus, or The Juggler is called Le Bateleur in French and Il Bagatello in Italian.Serious and full of intent and has a trickster nature,using illusions.The Magician may be a beneficial guide but s/he may not have your best interests at heart.Represents intoxication of power,both good and bad.02-The High PriestessCard Meaning:The meaning for this card are wisdom,power,mystic vision,sound judgment and intuition.She symbolizes balance between two opposing forces.03-The Empress - taken by Melene Ren'ai. Card Meaning:The Empress is a mother, a creator and nurturer.She can represent the creation of life, of romance, of art.She is the giver of earthly gifts, although at the same time, she can be overprotective and possessive.She is associated with The Fool and The World.In her beneficent aspect, she gives, nurtures, and/or celebrates life. In her negative aspect,she takes it.When The Empress kills it is usually by consuming, suffocating, or poisoning.She holds authority and can also stand for desire.04-The EmperorCard Meaning:The Emperor is the absolute ruler of the world.The Emperor symbolizes the desire to rule over one's surroundings.He is connected to The Death.Rules actively,is confident,practical,fiery, powerful, authoritative and very egotistical.Can have a rigid way of thinking and be inflexible.05-The HierophantCard Meaning:Balancing factor between two opposing forces and an interpreter between the 2 worlds.Deceiver,has power over others.Is associated with The Temperance.Hierophant generally represents assistance, friendship, good advice, alliances (including marriages), and religious interests. Reversed; it often refers to bad advice, lies, and persecution.06-The Lovers.Card Meaning:Also sometimes shown as The Twins.Their element is air and they are associated with The Devil.The Lovers represent the impulse that drives us,it can manifests as curiosity,desire or as duty.They also represent raw desire.07-The ChariotCard Meaning:Related to The Tower.The Chariot stands for conquest,honor,victory,ego centrism,self confidence,pride,bravery,command,inflexibility,discipline,hard control.08 0r 11-The JusticeCard Meaning:This card is a virtue and accompanies two other virtues:The Temperance and The Strength.Also associated/connected with The High Priestess and The Judgment.The Justice stands for responsibility,logic and reason,severity, intellect, analysis,insensitivity,being clever,coldness,distance and justice.09-The HermitCard meaning:Signifies wisdom.Wants to withdraw from society to become comfortable with himself and yet at the same time wishes to come out of isolation to share his knowledge with others.The Hermit is related to the Moon.He is isolated.He stands for silence,introspection,guidance,isolation,retreat,solitude,deep understanding.10-The Wheel Of FortuneCard Meaning:Has close connection to The Magician and The Sun.It stands for opportunities,turning point,possibilities,activity,Fate,surprises,speed,development and expansion.11 Or 08-The StrengthCard Meaning:One of the virtues,the other two being The Temperance and The Justice.Fire is this cards element.This cards represents the danger of losing control to impulses and desires,pride and unwarranted anger.But at the same time it also stands for discipline,self-control,patience,compassion,stability,preservation and serenity.12-The Hanged Man or The TraitorCard Meaning:This card can mean an outcast of society that appears to be a fool, but is in actuality completely in alignment and integrated.Closely associated with The Empress who could be his mother or wife.The Hanged Man is every hero committed enough to the adventure to die for it.He is the willing and unwilling sacrifice.He stands for:conformism,sacrifice,patience,passivity,letting go and surrendering.13-The Death-taken by Mikiru Urame.Card Meaning:This card has no respect for those it strikes down.It represent ending of a cycle,loss,conclusion,sadness,regeneration and deep change.14-The TemperanceCard Meaning:Called La Temperanza in Italian.One of the virtues.It speaks of self-restraint,carefulness and moderation.It also implies an easy going nature,a sensible person wise enough to to be caught up in petty concerns,who can see the bigger picture.It stands between The Death and The Devil.It stands for health,recovery, rebirth,joining forces,harmony and balance.
15-The Devil-taken by Devien De DuendeCard Meaning:The Devil is the card of self-bondage to an idea or belief which is preventing a person from growing or being healthy.It is associated with earth,wind and fire elements.Represents nearly an inexhaustible source of energy. The Devil is associated with The Lovers.It stands for materialism,lust,ignorance,obsession, egoism, anger,passion,animal instinct,temptation,vice and mistakes.16-The Tower-taken by Hisashi Tou.Card Meaning:This card stands for chaos,sudden change,crisis,revelation,disruption, disillusion,downfall,ruin and explosive transformation.17-The StarCard Meaning:This card stands for calmness,trust,peace of mind,hope,generosity, thinking positive, regeneration,harmony and good will.18-The MoonCard Meaning:This card represents dark night of the soul.It stands for lack of clarity,tension,doubt,fantasy,illusion,deception,psychological conflict,confusion,fear and unrealistic ideas.19-The SunCard Meaning:This card signifies harmony,happiness,a promise fulfilled,optimism, innocence, assurance,personal power and enthusiasm.20-The JudgmentCard Meaning:This card stands for rebirth,inner calling,absolution,redemption,accepting past mistakes and actions,renewal,forgiveness and new beginning.21-The WorldCard Meaning:The World represents an ending to a cycle of life, a pause in life before the next big cycle beginning.It stands for fulfillment,success,accomplishment, satisfaction, contentment and involvement.

| ~Do you guys want to have any special duties with the Arcana?For example,Akkei wants to be on of the scientists of the group.So she has a lab and does research and experiments that could benefit the organization,along with any research their leader requests.It could be anything you want:research,security,scouting for potential recruits,information gathering,assassination..etc.It could be used for missions and assignments. | |
