Keep them safe.~Side-mission 1A.~

Arriving at the site where Fura was defeated she looks around for anything unusual.Satisfied,she leans against the tree and waits for others to arrive.

in the distance someone sits in a tree, with a long scythe-like zanpaku-to. he watches quietly as the others survay the area where fura was felled.

"........... shinigami huh..........." Mikiru glares then continues grumbling.

Shiro looks at the camera and the photo.

"uh huh.......... ok.......... interesting.........." He gets up and starts walking off in the direction altria and the others are in. "thanks for showing me that miyuu." he waves then continues walking

Feeling a familiar presence she looks around,noticing Shiro heading her way.'That's not good..' She flash steps towards him,"Hey,you shouldn't come.Shin and Uriko will be here soon with Niwa,it's best if he doesn't see you."

Shiro looks confused for a second, then nods.

"oh....... I get it......" he smiles slightly, "someone from the science department right? ok i'll keep my distance." then turns and starts walking away from the area of research. "I guess the broken dragon jaw around my neck is to much of a give away." he laughs then sonidos to sit in a tree, on one of the higher branches. "oh and altria, be sure to stay alert.... there are other hollows that are still lingering here." Shiro goes silent and then suppresses his reiatsu so he doesn't attract the others attention.

"Yeah,Niwa has really sharp senses and he brought some strange equipment..I'd rather not have that psycho meet you." Turning around she heads back to the Fura site,calling over her shoulder,"Don't worry,I'll stay alert..who can relax with one of them around."

Mikiru watches Niwa and the others as they investigate the area. He raises Tatsutahime and runs his hand along the side of the scythe's blade. "hush...... soon my sweet Tatsutahime...."
He grins evilly and continues to watch.

She arrives back just as Niwa and others come into the clearing."This is where that thing got beat.." she gestures at the slightly indented patch of land."I see,I'll get to work then." Placing the bundle on the ground he unfolds it to reveal a strangely looking piece of equipment.Placing it in the indentation he flicks a few switches,it comes to life with a low droning noise.

Mikiru turns his attention to the machine and grins.

"heh..... that could be of some use to the others..." he shifts his weight and continues to watch and wait. (in thought) ' soon Tatsutahime..... soon....'

Moving closer to stand near the machine she looks around suspiciously."Hey guys,stay on guard.I have this feeling..like someone's watching." Kneeling by the machine Niwa gets completely absorbed in the data displayed on the screen,periodically flipping switches and pressing buttons.

shin feeling the same way..

"I'm on it!"

Mikiru puts a false hollow mask on. (it's the upper half of a wolf skull. It conceals the upper half of his face.) He shunpos out from behind a tree and brandishes his scythe like zanpaku-to. the blade connects with altria's shoulder and knocks Niwa away from the machine.

"............." he smiles slightly then removes Tatsutahime from altria's shoulder, blood flies off the blade as he does.

Turning around in surprise her eyes widen as a blade sinks into her left shoulder,a pained gasp escaping her lips when it's yanked out.Staggering back slightly she presses one hand to the wound,blood starting to seep from between the fingers,while with the other draws her zanpakuto.Gathering spirit energy around the now bloody fingers she starts the healing process,at the same time moving to stand protectively in front of Niwa.

Mikiru stares at altria and smiles slightly seeing blood seep from her wound. He raises the scythe again then fients a swing to altria's left side, then slashes her right. Tatsutahime slice through altria's right side leaving a deep cut as he removes the blade in a swift motion.

".........hmph......." Mikiru turns to look at the machine and then returns his attention to altria and Niwa.

~in the distance~

Shiro senses a hostile presence, and turns his gaze in to it's direction. He stands up as he feels Altria's reiatsu change strangely.

"What in the?!" He sonidos towards Altria's direction hoping he's not to late.

(in thought) ' damn it...... please let her be ok.'

looking back at the machine he grins somewhat molevalently.

"......interesting......." He twirls his scythe once, then stops it. "what's wrong shinigami? you look like you're in pain." his voice has a mocking tune to it.

Moving the sword to block the slash coming from the left she nearly drops it in surprise when a deep cut opens on the right.With the shoulder wound's bleeding stopped she refocuses energy to the new slash."Niwa,that machine,how important is it?" "Um,well it's an expensive piece of equipment so.."catching the look in her eyes he gulps and quickly continues,"but all the readings were taken and already transmitted to our lab." Nodding she points her bloodied hand at the machine,"Hadou #31-Shakkahō." A red ball of energy hits it dead on,it explodes with a bang."Pain?This is nothing compared to things I've lived through."

shin lately noticed them..

"Damn it I was careless.."

he turns around shunpoed near altria, facing mikiru..he points his finger at him..

"Hadou #4 - Byakurai"

Catching up to Shiro she takes hold of his shoulder,"Hey,hold on a minute.Didn't she tell ya to lay low?Let's wait and see before ya do something rash and get dragged to 12th.She's not alone there,Shin and Uriko are there too."

Mikiru looks at the reckage, then turns to altria.
"pity.... oh well. I may as well have some fun while i'm here." He shunpos behind altria, his scythe becomes stained with blood. long deep slashes appear all over altria's body. "heh...." He back flips a little ways away from altria and grins.
"hm hm... Tatsutahime is most pleased..." He looks at his zanpaku-to with a loving stare. "please, by all means..... try not to die as fast like the others.... It was most boring." he chuckle a bit then turns serious again.

shin pissed..

"You fool!...don't ignore me.."

he draws his sword and attacks crossing mikiru's scythe blocking it from another attempt of attack..

Shiro looks at miyuu and is about to say something to her when he senses another distortion in altria's reiatsu signature.
"uhg...... Sorry Miyuu..... but" he sonidos closer to the battle, "I won't stand by as altria suffers!" He disappears into the distance

"fool..." Mikiru twirls his scythe in a circuler motion and catches Shin's sword, and sends it flying into a tree. He then slashes shin cuting him diagonaly from his right shoulder to his left side. "Mess with me and die a meaningless death.... Tatsutahime will pray you die painlessly." the scythe glows in an eerie red light.

as he fell, shin felt shiro's reiatsu..

(in thought)
"This is bad, if he shows up, the 12th will take notice about it..I need to make up something.."

shin looks at niwa and shouts at him..

"Hey..you..12th guy...niwa-san! Run and hide, this became a dangerous encounter...go back to SS if you want to be alive...you said the information were transfered already..there's no need for you here.."

Taking cover behind a tree Niwa shakes his head,"No,this is a wonderful opportunity to see shinigami against shinigami.I'll never get such a chance again.It is very important for my research project.So I'll be fine as long as you people do your job."

Falling to one knee,the pain becomes something distant and removed as her eyes cloud over,very familiar words replaying in her head.'Try not to die as fast like all the others,'followed by booming laughter.An image comes to mind but it's blurry and unfocused,as if she's seeing it underwater,accompanied by feelings of anger and hatred so deep that it hurts to breath.'Die and disappear..die,just dies..hate you,so die,'those words keep echoing in her head.Snapping back to reality at Shin's shout,anger tints her vision red at the edges at sight of his injuries.Standing up slowly and picking up her zanpakuto from where it was dropped she hooks one finger into the chain,twirling it in such manner.

Smiling at Mikiru coldly,with a strange look in her eyes,she clearly recites the command,"Fight to survive,destroy to protect,kill to live.Shout in defiance and show them hell,Tsukiyomi!"

There's a small explosion of spirit energy,clearing to reveal her changed sword,the now black blade glowing ominously while silver runes seem to shift around.Her normally silver spirit energy is now tinted deep bloody red,wrapping around her shoulders like a cloak with tendrils creeping along the arms.Another new change is to her right eye,red is slowly seeping into it,making it look same as the left.
Flash stepping towards Shin she points the blade at his chest,"Fukkatsu Shiro,Mikazuki.(Restore,New Moon)."There's a silver glow and his wounds quickly heal before disappearing completely.

"Shin,please make sure Niwa gets out of here,even if you have to toss him kicking and screaming.That fool is coming even though I specifically said not to."
Biting her lower lip to keep from voicing the pain,she points the blade at her own chest,repeating the incantation,"Fukkatsu Shiro,Mikazuki." A silver-red glow envelopes her before fading,the wounds now completely gone.

Moving back to stand before Mikiru she addresses him in a voice that sounds chillingly cold,"Boring?Allow me to entertain you then. It's been a while since I've faced someone like you."

Pointing her zanpakuto blade down she quickly does a full turn,as if drawing a circle around herself in the air. "Kagerimashite,Kuraitsuki! (Darken,dark moon)." With those words she plunges her sword into the ground.The blackness of the blade seems to leak into the earth until a black circle is formed with her standing in the middle and on it.
Raising her blade she takes a fighting stance,"Now then,let's dance. But I'd like to know your name first."
