A strange hollow signature has been reported in Karakura town. It appears and seems to disappear at will, what's causing the disturbance is unknown. The disturbance has been going on for the last two days, and seems to be coming from a powerful presence. No casualties have been reported or if there are they have not been discovered.

shin went back to his room to rest, at least, even though there isn't much missions lately. as he's on his way to his room thinking a lot of stuff specially the one that happened last week, he incidentally ended up going in front of shiro's room door.

"weird, i ended up going in here. he's gone but it feels like he's just here inside and alive."

shin opens the door and an image of altria and shiro appears in his view.

"I might be imagining things. This is bad, I really need some sleep"

after a moment, he scratches his eyes and leaves. He closes the door gently and went straight to the living room and sleeps on the couch


note: what shin saw in the room was real, but he thought he was imagining things. he kind of been adapted to shiro being dead.

Shiro remains asleep for several hours, he tosses and turns uncomfortably before waking up with a gasp. "AHh... huh?" he looks around breathing deeply. (in thought) '.... Arrancar..... 7th espada..... Shiro Asaka....... maniacal laughter..... The Death...... ......... someone.... Dear.....' he pauses and looks over at Altria sleeping in the chair, '..... I think...... I remember now......' he takes her hand in his and smiles, a single tear rolls down his cheek... '..... I remember now.........' he whispers quietly. " Altria."

Shivering in her troubled sleep Altria quietly whispers,"Don't..leave.." tears gathering under closed eyes.With a gasp she bolts awake,sitting up straight in the chair."Ngh,not again.." Rubbing her eyes the sensation of someone holding her hand finally registers.Seeing Shiro awake she's about to hug him but restrains herself remembering he doesn't know her anymore."Shiro?How are you feeling?"

He smiles, "..... I..... remember.... " a few tears roll down his face although he's smiling. " that you were.... very dear to me...... Altria....."

"Shiro.." Jumping down from the chair she hugs him tightly."I'm glad..you remembered at least that Shiro-kun."

Shiro blushes bright red as Altria hugs him tightly, then hugs her in return. ".... yeah...." He looks out the window and realizes it's day again. " ....."

Letting go and straightening after a few minutes she rubs her eyes again."I'm sure,you'll remember everything soon.A reckless fool once told me 'no memory is ever truly beyond one's reach.' It'll come back." With a sigh she brushes stray lock of hair out of her eyes."Before..you said you arrived here 2 days ago? Where did you stay?"

Shiro blinks then looks thoughtful, " um.... I kinda........ well..Actually, I didn't stay anywhere... The guys from 11th kept chasing me all over the seireitei..... " He pulls out his Zanpaku-to, which is a long pitch black kunai with long blue tassels, and gives it a long stare, " the only place I've 'stayed' at was the Shinigami academy..... but They told me I could stay only for a couple of days and then I had to go somewhere else."

"Figures,that division is full of battle crazy lunatics." She shakes her head."Well,you're definitely staying here..heh,there won't be any problems with it this time." Noticing his zanpakuto she leans to take a closer look,"It changed?"

Shiro looks at Altria confused, " Changed?" He looks at it and turns it over looking at it from different angles, " Huh? I don't see anything different.... " looks very confused, then looks at the window again. "! Ah! I need to practice kidou!"

"It was..different before,when you were..um,an Arrancar..what is it's name?" Looking outside she sighs,"Kidou..would you like to practice together?I'm pretty good at kidou...there's a field right behind the division just for that."

Shiro gets off the bed, " Sure! that'd be nice!" He smiles and waits by the door, " Her name's Fenikkusu." he points to a small black Pheonix sitting near Altria, it flares out it's wings and tail showing the beautiful blue of it's feathers. It folds it's wings and stares at Altria with a curious look.

Looking at the phoenix in surprise she inclines her head."Wow..,it's nice to meet you Fenikkusu.It's a rare pleasure indeed to see a zanpakuto spirit.I'm glad he has someone watching over him now.." Smiling she motions to the window,"If we go this way it's faster.." With a graceful motion she jumps out,landing on the ground lightly and heads towards the back of the division,arriving after a few moments at a big green field empty except for practice targets scattered about."Here we are..so for starters,which kidou do you know?"

shin wakes up from his nap, and tries to remember what had happened before he decided to sleep. he remembered he saw altria and shiro in the room but assumes that it's just his imagination so he went to the living room and took a nap. now that he's done napping, he wonders...

"Could it really be just my imagination??"

he stands up and went to shiro's room. slowly he opens the door. with a sigh seeing the room empty he closes the door and went back to the living room.

~In the field~

Shiro stares at Altria, " Um..... about that......" he looks embarrassed. "I..... I can't seem to cast anything...." he looks away somewhat red in the face.

~At the barracks~

Fenikkusu is perched on the couch and stares at Shin, the familiar reiatsu signature of Shiro radiates from her.

Looking at Shiro in surprise she suddenly remembers something.A concerned look appears on her face."I have a hunch..let's hope it's wrong..to be sure..can you do this?" She holds up her left hand,a small glowing orb of her spirit energy forms above the palm."It's pretty easy,you just concentrate reiatsu there and visualize it materializing..try."

Shiro watches Altria and then holds out his left hand and focuses. ".... nhg...." a very small orb flickers for a moment in front of his hand before flickering out. He glares and tries again only to get the same result. " huff huff... so.... small..." he seems exhausted.

Dispelling the orb with a wave she sighs."Ah,I knew it..Mikiru..during the fight he did something to your reiatsu..and it's still blocked.I'm not really sure what to do to be honest..does Fenikkusu have any ideas?"

Looks around, Fenikkusu is nowhere.. " Fenikku?" looks around.

Glancing around as well she sighs,"Did she stay at the barracks?Can you talk to her anyway?To the connection distance generally wouldn't matter.We cold go back though.I have an idea or two..but her help would be needed."

"What is this?"

shin stares at the phoenix who seems to be staring at him. shin got scared off a little but not until he felt the same reiatsu signature of shiro radiating from the phoenix. shin approaches the phoenix slowly..

"Shiro..? No..but then how's that reaitsu..?"


note: shin thought that the phoenix could be shiro for a moment there.

~with Shin~
The phoenix stares at Shin a little longer before answering, " Not Shiro.... But part of Shiro... if you wish to find him.... follow me..... if not.. stay." Fenikkusu hops of the couch and flies past shin towards the door, she waits patiently for Shin to decide.

~with Altria~

"um... about that to.... I don't know how to reach her." T.T looks depressed.

"Oh..I'm sorry Shiro.Of course you wouldn't,I keep forgetting you were not taught any of this.Don't look so depressed,it takes hard work and practice,it's what the academy is for after all." Altria glances at Tsukiyomi."I'll try to explain.It's pretty simple.She's a part of you,so her presence should always be kinda of like in the back of your mind?If you concentrate on it you should be able to communicate even if she's manifesting.. like now.It takes a bit of practice but give it a try?If not we'll just go back..Holding onto you zanpakuto might help too.." She smiles at him encouragingly.

shin follows the phoenix. he's excited about what the phoenix said.

"he's alive?? Uhmm...of course I wanna see him...where is he?"

Fenikkusu flies towards the field where Altria and Shiro are practicing Kidou, she flies over to Shiro and lands on perches on his shoulder. "Oh? Fenikku?" He stares at her and she pecks his head. "Ow! hey what was that for? oh well at least you're here." he mutters something under his breath and is pecked again by Fenikkusu. "OW! Stop that!" > <
