Secrets Hidden Underground__Plot Mission AD 1

Armand flushes bright pink,keeping his expression blank.Staring after Miyuu he makes a 'Hrmph.' sound,following in after her.Keeping alert he takes flanking position at her side,ready for anything,glancing distractedly at her ears with fascinated expression.Going in last Saeth looks around with interest,falling into step near Destadi.As they walked further and further into the cave, they felt the cave's shifting sands and moving rocks. Moving debris had blocked their path once or twice, forcing them to go through long corridors and narrow passages.There were no Hollows or Arrancars in sight.As they continue on RuRu speaks up from the front."Though this cave might seem random,it has fixed movement patterns.There will be a threeway in front of us in about five minutes.We can either go through a slide without immediate comeback,an abyss we are yet to discover the bottom of it;take middle route that's somehwhat safe or the third route, which we didn't cover thanks to Arrancar activity."

'Hmm...the team was supposedly taken out by Arrancars...and yet...we haven't run into any this far in...oi..' Feeling uneasy Miyuu's ears keep twitching and flicking in different directions,tail swooshing back and forth in agitation.Hearing Ruru speak of a three-way Miyuu smirks,showing fangs,growling low,"Hrr..I say we take the third route..if yer not scared.I can take on any idiot Arrancar any time." Smirking she chuckles,lifting one eyebrow,"Let's see what lies beyond the road unknown,ne."

Smiling widely, Desta nods slowly. "but of course!!! .... or... perhaps you'd like it if we split up into groups? ^^" he smiles deviantly at Ruru, showing his pointed teeth and fangs. "hee hee hee..... anywhere is suitable for me." ^^

Shivering RuRU turns pink,hiding her face behind her billowing sleeves."N-no. Splitting up would not be wise." Moving down into the third path they continue silently for a while,the path narrowing so no more then two people could walk side by side.Cavern walls on one side and large rock formation rising to the ceiling on the other,create feeling of being trapped in.With a sudden rumble three walls slide out of nowhere,separating the group.Miyuu,Armand and RuRu,being in the lead end up on one side,separated from Destadi and Saeth by a large wall.Another wall slides out behind them,cutting off chance of going back and trapping them in a small space between the two walls.The walls themselves are made of very dense seki seki stone,making them immune to any reiryoku/reiatsu based attack,as well as zanpakutou attacks.They also mute any nearby reiryoku,making use of it difficult.

Having been following after RuRu and studying surroundings with interest she whirls around hearing something heavy slam down behind her,seeing a large white wall now blocking the road back."Oi!! The he'll 's this." Coming up to the wall and inspecting it Miyuu jerks her arm back upon feeling the stone starting to pull in her reiryoku."..Seki Seki rock...Ain't no way this is part of the cave..someone set this up..." Raising her voice she shouts,"Heeey! Sae-kun..Desta-kun..ya ok there?? Gotta be obvious we got lured inta some kinda trap..and they want us separated.. back away from this side,I'll try ta break through." Having good knowledge of seki seki walls and restrains she considers limited options.' Oi...force is all ya can do here..they look thick..anything with reiryoku will just get absorbed.Waste of energy.' Backing up a good distance she takes a running spring at the wall,bringing her arm back all the way and getting close strike the wall with her full strength,power added in by momentum.

Looking back and forth between the two walls trapping them in not so large piece of the path Saeth glances at Destadi amused,as if to say 'something fun finally happened.' Hearing Miyuu calling out and quite agreeing with her assessment of the situation Saeth backs up to the other stone wall yet keeps sure not to touch the spirit energy devouring seki seki rock that is oh so familiar to him.There's a loud sound of large force smashing into the wall from Miyuu's side.The giant wall vibrates but shows no sign of denting or giving in to brute measures.Somewhat concerned Saeth calls out,"Kitten-chan,are you alright there?Don't break bones,love." Taking another look around,suddenly irritated by the glow bug on his lapel is emitting he promptly crushes it between fingers,extinguishing the glow. Examining surroundings again in complete and blissful darkness,silver eyes glinting, Saeth quickly discards option of flying out,walls rising all the way to the ceiling on
all four sides.Drawing his wings closer to himself to prevent them from catching on anything he wobbles unsteadily, suddenly feeling sand beneath their feet beginning to shift. Discovering the sand beneath their feet has somehow magically turned into quicksand and they are starting to sink in, his own legs firmly lodged up to the ankle and refusing to budge at his attempts to get free and airborne. In minutes knee deep in and sinking further rapidly Saeth glances at Destadi in quite the same situation,shrugging casually. "Ah...looks like we have a small problem here..."

Watching Miyuu unsuccessfully trying to punch through the wall and hearing Saeth's comment about a small problem Armand is stopped from further inquiry by a deep and loud roaring sound echoing from the depths of the corridor heading deeper into the cave. Squeaking in obvious fear,RuRu goes to huddle as close to the wall as possible without actually touching it,fear evident in her voice."I-it's o-one of the m-mad A-arrancar failures." Casting a glance at Miyuu he draws his trident without a word,preparing for whatever is getting closer to them,roaring sounding almost upon them.

Looking down at the ground with a calm expression, Destadi doesn't struggle much, making him sink at a much slower rate. He looks around for something solid and seeing that the cave wall is the only option he carefully unsheathes his zans and slowly moves toward the wall. He twirls his zans by the chains on the ends of the hilts then flings them so that the bladed parts sink into the cave's wall. "heh.... alright..." looking over at Saeth, Desta moves over to his zans and hold onto the chains to prevent himself from sinking any farther. He makes a gester to Saeth to try to come and reach him by the wall. "hn... Saeth-kun... IF you don't struggle so much... you won't sink as fast into the sand ne? Perhaps if you could reach me over here..... We could figure out a away out of here with out worrying about sinking.." he smiles charmingly as if he doesn't seem to be worried very much by the situation.

Glowering at the wall seeing her attack on it had no effect she glances down at bloodied knuckles,bringing hand up to lick the wound.Watching it heal quickly afterward Miyuu replies back sounding annoyed,"Oi,I'm fine,ya silly bat.Need more ta break my bones.." Ears flickering hearing Saeth's comment about small problem she swiftly turns for the dark corridor upon roaring sounds."Oi...looks like were about to get a small problem 'ere too." Catching Armand's glance Miyuu only grins,flexing her hands and cracking knuckles.Loosening Aneitora in his sheath she prepares for a fight with whatever is coming,moving legs further apart,tail flicking from side to side.Ears flickering back and forth catching Destadi's words she frowns,"Oi...sinking sand? Tch,trapped 'ere on purpose.. OI..ya two better not be stupid enough ta sink in like some amateurs." Watching the black tunnel and roaring sounds getting closer she throws glances at seki seki wall behind her,thinking up ways to get it down all the while.

"Hnn..I shall try.." Straining leg muscle Saeth forces his way over to Destadi slowly,wading through the swirling sand.Loud roaring sounding from other side of the wall makes him pause.Oh dear..what in the world was that?I wanna see!!We get stuck in boring quicksand and they get something interesting..typical. Redoubling his efforts Saeth reaches Destadi.Seeing wall is composed of sandy, easily crumbling stone he reconsiders using his own zanpakutou in same manner as Destadi,afraid it would cause the wall to crumble,instead reaching to get a good grip on one of the chains.By now having sunk couple inches over the knees he gathers up wings closer,having no desire to have them sink in too. "Hnnn.. Desta-kun ..how are you with Cero?" Smiling slyly Saeth glances at Destadi,running his eyes back to opposite wall in thought. " This wall we're using here..and that one opposite to us,"he flicks tip of left wing at it," are not seki seki.They're sandstone..typical to caverns like this..and prone to easier destruction. Who knows what's on other side,if anything,could be just more rock..and we could cave ourselves in..but better then sinking,neh?" Meanwhile,quicksand starts pulling them in with more force, looking like gurgling,stormy sand sea...that starts to rise.

Roaring gets closer and closer.Burning red eye becomes distinguishable,moving with skill up on the ceiling.With a snarl,shadowy form emerges from tunnel,becoming more recognizable. It looked like a Gecko-Crocodile crossover from some mad dream..or nightmare.Long humanoid body with longer tail,moving on all fours.Sickly pale green skin glistened from small illumination provided by glowing bugs on RuRu's shoulder,spiked scales covering it in patches.Missing half of the top right part of mask that covered the whole top part of the face left completely white eye exposed.A huge jaw filled with sharp fangs stayed open and drool fell freely from it.Pieces of something red were visible stuck between some fangs.This was indeed an imperfect Arrancar.
Staring at the monstrosity with absolute distaste Armand moves to avoid being dozed in slimy drool,lip curling in disgust."What a pitiful creature...let me put you out of your misery" Hefting trident he hurls it at the creature with deadly accuracy.Moving at astonishing speed it scuttles to the side,trident missing and lodging into rock ceiling deeply.Shrieking loudly creature scuttles closer,rows of sharp needles growing out of its body along the tail with sickening sound. Flicking tail it fires a volley at Armand,Miyuu and RuRu.

Observing emerged monstrosity her face shows disgust,ears flattening down on her head.Taking a sniff Miyuu grimaces,nose twitching,hair on tail standing on end and fluffing out."Oii..yucckh!! That thing's all wrong.And it smells like a sewer..yuckh." Staring at the jaw filled with sharp teeth she grimaces noticing bits of left over meal stuck here and there,moving further away from dropping drool,having zero desire to get splattered with it.'Someone forgot ta brush his?..hers.?..what side of fence is that thing?..bah,it'll do...its..teeth.' Watching Armand hurl his trident,muscle straining,her tail drops down when it misses,expression changing from excitement to let down.Raising one eyebrow she stares at Armand,giving small salute,growling in extremely sarcastic voice,"Nice job.Ya sure showed it.Put right out of its misery,alright.Great aim." Wincing at sudden loud shrieks and covering her ears Miyuu scowls,glaring at the creature,unable and unwilling to think of it as Arrancar,eyes training on rows of sharp looking needles sprouting from its body."Kuso!!!" Diving for Armand she grabs his arm and spinning around harshly shoves towards RuRu, backing them both into a corner.Getting in front and backing up until she almost walks into him Miyuu stares squarely at approaching storm of needles,slowly raising both hand.Waiting till last moment she slashes her arms down in an X,a powerful gust of wind flowing out and blasting all the needles,sending them flying back.Wasting no time Miyuu draws Aneitora and rushes forward,jumping up with force upon nearing creature,flipping in the air and slashing her zanpakuto down length of its back. Landing for a moment on ceiling,near stuck trident she grabs the hilt,pulling it free."Hey,catch!" Hurling trident at Armand she kicks off the ceiling,flipping and landing on the ground again.

Smirking widely when Saeth asks him how well he is with cero, his eyes gleam in a playful way, "hn hn? cero you ask? mm... if I were to loose a cero here... there wouldn't 'be' a cave for us to explore.. but then ... neither would we." He smiles slyly then turns to stare at the wall with a contemplating look, "mm... but then.. what's to gain if one has nothing to lose? Perhaps being in mortal danger drives one to desperate measures... but what's the use in panicking, when in doing so could cost you your very life? ne?" Desta gives Saeth a rather calm look, even though the quicksand in the room begins to rise and suck them in deeper, without a word he holds out his right hand to point it at the opposite wall, a devious smile etched across his face. "hn... always be ready to expect the worst while praying for the best...you can't have one without expecting the other.... " he gathers maroon colored reiatsu around his hand, before condensing it into several small orbs, "hn.. but then.. life's no fun without a good scare.. ^^ let's make it last!!!" he fires off five balas at the opposite wall, each with the power of a fully charged normal cero.

Balas blast through the soft sandstone wall like through butter,creating a tunnel that extends into unknown.The force of the blast shakes small area they are in,kicking up dust and sand.Two sekki sekki walls hold but the wall behind them emits ominous sounds,large cracks appearing all across it,chunks of rock beginning to slide and crack off.Large amount of dust and sand particles kicked up into the air makes it hard to breath.Sand that has been filling in and rising suddenly gurgles,rising up higher and in powerful rush streams into the tunnel hole created by the balas,carrying Saeth and Destadi along.It's like being carried by a giant wave,at it's mercy and whims,but instead of water it's sand.Rushing along the tunnel it suddenly drops down,going of a ledge.The two Arrancars get unceremoniously deposited on a hard surface in a cave like room after being swept along with the sand off a three story drop ledge high adove.A large amount of sand is then dropped on top of them,remainder of the sandy 'river'.

Coughing and struggling to breath Saeth erupts from the sand,having been half buried under it.Wheezing he coughs up more sand with a grimace.Breathing heavily and trying to gather his wits after being swept along on the river of sand he shakes it out of his hair and drops down on his back in exhaustion, immediately shooting back up at needle sharp pain erupting along his wings."Raah!!" Quivering and glancing back single curse escapes his lips. "Merde!!" Left wing is bend at unnatural angle,folding backwards in a way it shouldn't. I must have landed on it when we fell...Merde!! Thankfully I don't see bone showing..if it's set into proper position I can heal it..but..but.. Cringing at thought of even touching damaged wing Saeth shivers,drawing right undamaged wing close to himself.

Catching his trident easily Armand gives quick nod of thanks,moving away from the wall.The Arrancar shrieks in pain,dark red,almost black,blood welling up from the long slash and dripping to the ground.Rearing up it opens its maw wide and emits a super sonic screech of high intensity.Covering his ears Armand doubles over in pain,kneeling down,feeling like his head is about to split apart.Behind him,with a cry RuRu collapses unconscious.The Arrancar continues screeching,walls of the cave vibrating,small cracks appearing.

before being swept along down the tunnel by the quicksand, Destadi quickly yanks his Zanpakuto from the cave's wall. Being tossed and turned as the wave of sand carries them down the seemingly endless tunnel, his eyes widen at the sudden weightless feeling as they plummet over a three story ledge. suddenly slamming into a hard surface, he cringes slightly feeling something bend and snap in an unnatural position, as well as something sharp stabbing into him, and soon after attempting to stand, he is pushed back down from the weight of the sand suddenly landing on him from above. he remains still for a few minutes, until hearing Saeth cry out. shifting slightly at first, Destadi forces his way up and out of the sand, bursting to the surface sending a cloud of the white dust into the air. He carefully pulls himself out from the sand, standing up he takes a look at his left arm, noticing it's unnaturally bent at an odd angle. "mm.. bothersome..." he takes hold of his wrist and quickly but carefully sets his arm back into it's proper position, bones healing back together as if they were never broken. Smiling he flexes his hand and does a few movements to check if his arm responds correctly, seeing that it does he turns to Saeth, eyeing his left wing. ".... That looks painful Sae-kun... perhaps you'd need some assistance?" he smiles charmingly, yet doesn't seem to have noticed that the blades of both his zanpakuto are stabbing him through his right side and left shoulder.

Left wing trembling,pain signals race down nerve endings of the whole wing and up to his back.Examining it closer Saeth quivers,injury worse then he first judged. The main span of bone creating frame of the wing looks broken in three places,with bone fragments stretching leathery skin of the wing,very tips protruding in two places creating two spots of bleached white.Break where wing got folded back,turning it inside out looks to be worst of the three.Main span of thick bone growing from his back has broken at the joint,twisting wing into further unnatural shape.The thin 'fingers' of bone between which incredibly soft ,warm to the touch membrane stretches snapped and got splintered into small fragments with membrane of the wing itself torn in various spots,thin rivulets of blood dripping from torn capillary vessels.The very tip of the wing has snapped right below the clawed tip,bending it outwards.Hearing Destadi address him Saeth pulls his eyes from the disturbing sight of his injured wing,turning around."I believe I woul..." Eyes falling on the two zanpakutou sticking out of Destadi his brow shoots up."Hnn..Desta-kun ...you look in need of assistance yourself.." Slowly stepping closer to Destadi, sharp stabbing pain intensifying despite his best attempts to keep left wing absolutely still Saeth wraps his hand around one of zanpakutou embedded in Destadi.Placing other hand on the other zanpakutou he calmly gazes into Destadi's eyes."One..two..three!" With liquid movement he pulls both arms back,removing zanpakutou from Destadi's right side and left shoulder. Slashing them through the air to clear off blood he returns both blades to their respective sheathes."There you go..I believe those belong there." Taking step back Saeth winces,left wing throbbing horrifyingly by now,sensation spreading to his back. Gritting his teeth,extremely slowly he extends it out as much as possible,only eyes showing how much pain that action causes, silver orbs reflecting pain.Recovering and catching his breath for couple minutes he looks at Destadi with apologetic smile. "Hnn..indeed,I could use some.If you could snap it back into it's proper place I would be eternally grateful." Smiling charmingly Saeth internally braces for it,feet shifting further apart into more balance stance, hands curling together on their own.Having half the mind to take his request back he shivers, though no stranger to pain and accustomed to it his wings always remained highly sensitive. Licking dry lips he instead crosses arms,gripping his forearms tightly. There is no way around,this must be done or it will not heal properly...Hnnh...hopefully damage is not as extensive as it looked and able to be regenerated..with Armand-kun who knows where in regard to our position other option is out the window...and I'm quite certain Kitten-chan was correct on this being a set up.. being inhibited by injury would be bothersome with such uncertain future..

When Saeth pulls out his zanpakuto from where they were stabbing into his body, he doesn't even so muc as flinch. Instead a blank expression remaining on his face. His wounds heal over almost instantly, leaving only dark red stains on his top from where they were. Stretching, he smiles at him in a pleasant way, before eying his injured wing. "oh my... that indeed looks painful love."walking over to Sae's wing, he gingerly untwists it's unnatural shape, being ever so careful and slow as to not irritate the damaged parts further. After very gingerly untwisting the wing from it's awkward position, he very tenderly sets the broken parts back into place, while focusing his reiatsu to his hands, creating a soothing feeling to dull out the pain while he finishes resetting the wing. After 10 minutes, the wing is set back properly, looking much better than it was prior to being reset. He smiles at Saeth with a sly charming smile, sapphire eye glinting playfully. "how is that love? better? I would imagine so... yes?" he snickers pleasantly at Sae, then looks around for a minute to scan their surroundings. "This is indeed very different from where we first were... would this perhaps be that 'Abyss we had yet to find the bottom of.' Ru-ru was speaking of? if so... I would very much imagine.. we've just discovered the bottom.... but, maybe not in the most pleasant of ways... hn hn... What do you say, we... have a little fun while the others are away hn??" he smirks slyly at sae, tracing a finger along his jawline, and down to the choker, just barely brushing his fingers a long it. "I'm sure the others can handle themselves yes? so... maybe scout around down here a little hn?"

Flinching the moment Destadi's fingers touch the damaged wing and breathing out strangled hiss of pain Saeth draws himself up rigidly,digging his claws deeper into his forearms.Back tensing he closes his eyes tightly,periodically quivering,brow scrunched up from pain but makes no sound.Warmth of Destadi's reiatsu soothing away sharp stabs of pain Saeth shivers,letting out shuddering breath.Tension slipping from shoulders his tight grip on forearms eases. Resetting finished within next ten minutes Saeth opens his eyes slowly, showing relieved look.Licking up blood from fangs digging into his lips a tad too deep he focuses on mending reset wing. Deep burgundy glow shimmers around him with reiatsu called to the surface. Eyes bleeding into bright crimson Saeth concentrates energy to the broken parts,copper scent floating in the air.Tears in the wing quickly regrow,snapping and cracking sounds heard with bones repairing themselves.Quickly finishing his eyes circle back to silver,reiatsu settling down and disappearing from sight. Stretching languidly Saeth moves his wing,at first gingerly then with assurance. Folding and unfolding it, stretching out to full length,moving up and down he spends five minutes checking to make sure everything healed properly.Finally rising off the floor with powerful flaps he circles low to the floor once and sets down,folding his wings back."Ahh,that's muuuuch betterrrr." I outta keep weight off it for the next hour to ensure correct heal.Better keep grounded.Beaming at Destadi Saeth glomps him,laughing."Merci!Thank you very much,Desta-kun!" Pulling back to take a look where they ended up Saeth surveys expansive cave, rounding at the end where they are and extending out to the right, darkness interrupted here and there with luminescent moss growing over the walls in patches.Looking up at the opening in the wall from which they dropped he smiles slyly."An abyss, hnn? Somehow I imagined an abyss to be more.. abyssy. Much more deep certainly." Surprise flickering through his eyes at mention of them having a little fun Saeth smirks devilishly,fangs flashing dangerously,laughing in a low rumbling chuckle. Shivering delightfully feeling fingers brush over the choker his eyes narrow slyly,flashing crimson for brief instant."Hrr..fun you say?" Turning his words into a rumbling purr Saeth moves closer,brushing fingers along the long fang of Destadi's mask,from the very top down to the sharp tip.Leaning forward,hair brushing against Desta's cheek he murmurs in a low growl,warm breath ghosting over skin."I'm alllll for having fuuun,hrrrr." Pulling back Saeth smiles deviously,silver orbs glittering playfully. Brushing tips of clawed fingers along Destadi's cheek Saeth runs them down his neck,pausing to circle around pulse point and grazing over it continues down his arm.Abruptly turning around, throwing coy look over his shoulder Saeth looks around once more to create impression of intently scouting,with it being furthest thing from his mind. Taking three steps towards right where cave continues on he stretches languidly with unnatural grace,motion transferring to his wings,making pleased sound. Glancing back at Destadi Saeth smirks devilishly,eyes glittering,inquiring in innocent tone contradicting his look."What was it you wanted to do..hnn?Ah yes,scout." Chuckling pleasantly he throws Destadi teasing look,turning on his heel and taking another two steps to start moving further into the cave.

Watching Saeth wander around and trace over the long fang of his mask fragment, Destadi's eyes flash with amused spark, lighting them up. Shivering pleasantly, when Saeth brushes against his cheek, and feeling warm breath ghost over his skin, he gives him a sly playful look. "hnnnnnnrrrr...... affectionate are we love?" he snickers in amusement, following Saeth with his dark blue eye, his eyebrows raise at saeth asking if it was scouting that he wanted to do. "hnnnnnnnnnn hnnnnnn... yes.. I wanted to 'scout'... -w-" he laughs in a jokey manner, finding his question rather amusing. "hnn hnnn... yes... let us.. 'scout' the area... hnn?" he follows after Saeth, wild mischievous look flashing through his eye.

Tilting his head Saeth gives inquisitive look,taking on an innocent air,"Hnn?Am I? Affectionate,that is?Perhaps it's just you..Desta-kuuun...." Smirking slyly he doesn't elaborate further,leaving it at that. Hearing and almost seeing air quotes surrounding word scout Saeth laughs highly amused, shooting Destadi teasingly playful look,"My,my,Desta-kun,you make this 'scouting' sound as something highly suspicious one should watch out for. If one was a cautious type that is." Eyes glinting deviously,half darkness of the cave adding eerie glow to them,Saeth breaks into a laugh,finishing with a teasing chuckle, "Mm..it sounds like activity one might enjoy nonetheless,hnn." 'Hee, I like this kind of..''scouting' XD ' Smirking he continues further into the cavern,chuckling periodically.Slowing to fall in step with Destadi his graceful smooth movements resemble large predatory cat on the hunt,making no sound and appearing relaxed while staying aware of surroundings and ready to react.It's hard to say what catches his attention several moments later.A subtle shift of air,scent it brings,oppressive feeling of being watched or all of it together..In any case,Saeth slows down to a stop,running his eyes over the entirety of the cave that he's able to see,drawn to look up.Myriad of bloodshot red eyes stare back. Upon focusing on one red eye he slowly makes out a form that looks like a terror haunting someone's nightmares.Long humanoid body with longer tail,moving on all fours.Sickly pale green skin glistened in low illumination glowing moss provided,spiked scales covering it in patches.Missing half of the top right part of mask that covered the whole top part of the face left completely white eye exposed,the other eye glowing baleful red from masks socket.A huge jaw stayed half open, demonstrating razor sharp fangs filling it.The whole hideous thing reminded of bizarre Gecko-Crocodile cross over.Quickly glancing from one to another Saeth concludes they all look exactly the same except for minor details.'Is this what Kitten-chan and Armand-kun are dealing with up there?But..how many of them are here??At very least..twenty ..no,more .. They're stretching all the way further in..Hnnh.. is this their nest?If Arrancar's were to nest...which they do not..but this is not an Arrancar..hnn..' Keeping his eyes on the ceiling and watching creatures for any movement Saeth moves closer to Destadi,one hand flexing and ready to draw his blade,clenching other together in case he needed to draw blood."Hnnh..we have quite the company..welcoming committee perhaps?"

~Meanwhile,with Armand and Miyuu~
"Yaaaarggg!!" Crying out in pain Miyuu doubles over,toppling to her knees,Aneitora tumbling from her hands as she covers her ears.With her overly sensitive hearing the super sonic screeches emitted by the creature are amplified,crushing down and tearing through her head. Trembling and feeling as if her head is about to burst,dark spots dance before her vision. Gathering scattered shards of thought she lifts one shaky hand,silver reiatsu gathering together. Aiming for the creature in her doubling,darkening vision Miyuu fires a weakened Cero at it,more in instinct and desperation to make the screeching stop then rational thought.Second later the darkness at the edges of her vision rushes in and she collapses unconscious.

Remaining motionless in relaxed stance and watching the creatures for a bit Saeth begins to wonder if perhaps they're sleeping or nonviolent when a low sound filters through the cavern from somewhere further ahead,quickly hissed words strung together so fast they turn into meaningless moan of wind.Immediate reaction comes from the pseudo-Arrancars on the ceiling.In scurrying gait number of them stream forward,rushing over rocky ceiling and scuttling down to cover upper parts of walls.A lesser number of them releases their clawed grip of the ceiling,flipping in the air and dropping down to the ground on all fours heavily with muted thud. In numbered minutes Destadi and Saeth are surrounded by mass of these pseudo-Arrancars, teeming on the floor,ceiling and walls in front,behind and all around them.Watching as they're flanked and trapped Saeth folds his wings,flattening and tucking them in close to his body,out of harm's and his own way.Sidestepping he backpedals two steps until he's standing back to back with Destadi,leathery outer skin of his tucked in wings feeling soft and infused with warmth yet strangely resilient,whenever they brush against skin.Habitual sly smile playing over his lips he slowly sweeps his eyes over the cavern tunnel they're in,piercing gaze cutting through darkness with ease.His silver orbs flash burgundy for brief instant when he taps into other vision checking for any hidden threats,possible ways out and things unseen or hard to notice before.During that small instant two red spots light up on the ceiling further ahead,much deeper in still a red square indicating a door shows in natural stone wall of the cavern tunnel,an outline of figure glowing blue visible to his vision through the door,feel of aura itself telling his senses it is a male.Without moving his lips Saeth whispers, keeping his tone low and hard to detect in the easily carrying sound environment of the cavern."There are two tunnels up on the ceiling from my point..about,"quickly,he does a mental count,sizing up distance,"..about twenty paces ahead of us.That's where creatures are coming in from..and more are in there now.At the end of this tunnel is a door,forty paces at least,likely more.There's a shinigami behind it..and he's watching us..." Catching movement at the side Saeth cuts off whatever else he was going to say,drawing his zanpakutou in flash and slashing heavy blade out in arc,many long needle spines fired from pseudo-Arrancars raised tail clattering to the ground. Opening their maws wide a shrill shriek rises out of their throats,amplified by the echoes of the cavern and rising in both volume and pitch.Under the audio assault Saeth staggers,sensitive hearing making him even more susceptible to horrible wails booming all around.Disoriented and dizzy he has trouble keeping balance and coordination,slashing out with effort at new batch of needles fired at them from all sides.Prickling sensation blooming on his chest draws his eyes down,long single needle sticking out few inches below his collarbone.Wrenching it out and throwing away he has no time to worry over numbness starting to spread from the spot,tails all around them rising again
in preparation to fire.

By draw of luck Miyuu's Cero hits creature full in the face.Not strong enough to do much damage to the creature,thick Hierro and scales protecting it from most harm,result of the blast however scorches its less protected throat,damaging its vocal cords in process and rendering unable to shriek any longer,wail cutting off into a gurgling sound.Blessed silence returning Armand surges to his feet,rushing at the pseudo-Arrancar with trident at the ready.Still unbalanced from the screech he clumsily but quickly stabs at it,driving trident fully through its back.Hefting his zanpakutou,with creature still pierced on it,Armand slashes it out at far wall,sending hellish thing flying to collide with the wall.Expecting it's body to become bloody pulp his eyebrows rise when instead creature curls into ball that bounces away from the wall and rolls away into tunnel it came from.Keenly watching tunnel entrance in case it comes back Armand hurries over to unconscious Miyuu.Gently,with great care,he raises her into sitting position,one arm wrapping around her shoulders and holding up as support."Miyuu.." Calling her name softly he leans close,watching for signs of her waking."Miyuu!!Wake up!!"

~Meanwhile,with Armand and Miyuu~
Brow scrunching up her lips part,quiet moan escaping,"Nuuah.." Ears twitching she struggles to consciousness,feeling someone holding her in warm embrace,eyes slowly opening,looking unfocused and dazed.Staring up into his different colored eyes Miyuu frowns,trying to focus enough to recall his name,"Nrr...Armand?" Rubbing her forehead,echoes from pseudo-Arrancars shriek still reverberating in her head.Grasping front of his shirt with delicate clawed fingers she pulls herself up more,sitting up fully.Eyes quickly darting around Miyuu breathes out relieved sigh seeing the thing's gone,tail sweeping from side to side on the sandy floor.Shifting her gaze to Armand she smiles cattily,ears flicking up,"Oi,ya dealt with the thing,yah?Thanks,Armand-kun. That shrieking was bloody horrible.." Running fingers through her white hair Miyuu brushes back stray locks,flicking longer strands from her eyes,darting her gaze to the corridor and only current route for them to take,"Oi,I hope there aren't more o'these things around..if we run into any we gotta take them out fast,before they get chance to open that disgusting maw." Feeling she's forgotten something her eyes land on the seki seki wall and collapsed RuRu,"Ah!! Desta-kun,Sae-kun!!" Scrambling up in haste she hurries over to the wall,pounding on it with closed fist,"Ey!Can ya two hear me?Are ya still there??" Listening intently,ears standing on alert Miyuu shakes her head,turning to look at Armand,"Oii..I don' hear anything.No movement..ya think they got out on other side?"

+With Saeth+

Cringing slightly from the horrid shrieking of the creatures, Desta tunes it out long enough to listen to saeth and gives a slight nod, whispering back, 'meh... so... it wasn't just me thinking there was someone pulling strings behind the scenes....' getting cut off, he blocks a shower of needles coming for him with a few quick movements of his zans. Turning seeing Sae pull out a needle, Desta looks around with one deep blue eye as the other one is hidden under is hair. He stiffens slightly seeing the creatures all raise their tails in unison, preparing for another strike. Looking around with a sly yet almost cornered look, he runs his tongue along his upper lip, a habit of his indicating nervousness, he glances at Saeth, "Well... this sure is short lived... don't you agree Sae-kun?" He smiles uneasily, before suddenly firing off a storm of bala in all directions at the creatures, kicking up huge dust cloud and obscuring vision. Taking the chance, he takes sae by the arm, and sonidos into the cloud of dust landing on a few of the creature's faces during each jump. He takes off through the tunnel with the signature of the unknown male shinigami, while attempting to escape the creatures.

___Desta and Sae___
Destadi's grip enclosing on his arm Saeth gets pulled along in their mad dash for the door at end of tunnel,their only escape out,whether to safety or more elaborate trap,with unknown shinigami signature waiting there. Cloud of dust kicked up by bala obscures vision but it doesn't stop pseudo-Arrancars from attacking,honing in on their signatures,all firing needles from their tails in general direction of the pair's escape,showering in storm of spike like thin needles.Picking up whooshing sound Saeth unfolds his wings,stretching one out to cover himself while extending other one to cover as much as possible of Destadi's back and little of his side.Ripple of deep burgundy reiatsu washes over his wings,hardening their leather outer surface,making it more difficult to penetrate. Those needles are coated with something,numbness is spreading..I'm already hit,so few more won't matter..But Desta-kun is clean so far. Griping his zanpakutou in clawed hand Saeth rapidly moves it in blurring motion to block off needles coming at them from the front,sides and above as they race for the door,using pseudo-Arrancars blanketing walls and floor as stepping stones. [Saeth?Where are your?What has happened?] Armands rich stoic baritones flowing through his mind Saeth reaches out for the contact,finding it reassuring amid current predicament. Not wishing to divert his attention from moving and blocking needles from getting to him and Destadi,Saeth opens his memories,instead of speaking, allowing Armand to see through his eyes what has happened since they got trapped by seki seki walls.Pulling back and closing memories off after transmitting that part over he winces,feeling more needles embed into his sensitive wings,with one hitting shoulder as his parrying movements begin to steadily slow,speed declining.[Saeth! Stay with it!Don't you dare succumb.We'll try to make our way to you..this tunnel leads down and you're somewhere below us.] Becoming unfocused for moment,vision blacking,Saeth shakes his head fiercely,fighting hazy fuzziness threatening to blank him out.Wash of energy coming with Armands send jolts him enough for coherent reply.[Understood... be... careful.. someone's pulling strings..behind the scene..watching..us] Letting go of connection as it becomes too much of an effort to maintain it Saeth allows link to sink back into background of his mind. Door..and potential escape,looming before them he whispers quietly,tongue turning slowly, feeling like his mouth is stuffed with cotton,"Armand..and..Mewmew..abo..ve us..gon..na try..to me..et up.." Preparing to have to blast sturdy looking gray door,camouflaged so well one could easily pass right by it,Saeth gives surprised noise when instead it smoothly slides open,administering him and Destadi in,then closing behind them with definite click.Clean,medium sized white room looks completely empty,with no other doors besides one they came in from.There's no sign of shinigami that Saeth saw here only moments ago.Stumbling,drug needles are dosed with starting to take full effect, his vision swirls wildly,whole body feeling impossibly heavy.Wings sinking down,partly trailing on the floor Saeth pulls out number of needles from them and his torso with difficulty.Air feeling stifling his breaths come in pants."Huff..huff...t..ra...p..." Attempting to burn strange drug out of his system it proves unsuccessful.Suddenly,incredibly heavy and massive spirit pressure floods the room,pressing down on them,with source itself seeming to be coming from everywhere. Shuddering Saeth presses against the wall,eyes closing.Coupled with drugs effect,pressing and stiffing reiatsu he could normally attempt to fight,is unbearable now,keeping him pinned to the spot.Barely able to lift his head Saeth slips into half conscious state.

___With Miyuu and Armand___
Eyes drawn to Miyuu's cherry lips when she stirs and moans flick of ears catches his attention,desire to pet white silky fur rising.Firmly shoving it away into secret place for umpteenth time Armand nods slowly,affirming it is him."Yes,Miyuu-chan.." He has to dig claws into his palm when her fingers next ghost over skin as she grasps his shirt to sit up fully,shutting down shiver before it shows,goosebumps running down the spots.Returning her smile with serious look Armand shakes his head,"I am unworthy of your praise and thanks,dear.I have injured it but I have not 'dealt' with it for the thing got away." Looking at the tunnel with distaste he growls low in his throat,long sharp fangs flashing for brief glimpse,"That is only way for us to take...we will likely run into it again.I will 'deal' with the thing then,rest assured." Turning back to her Armand's eyes follow movement of her slender fingers through white silky locks,looking clearly distracted with it.Taking moments to register she spoke he replies hastily,to cover up late response,keeping his voice even and smooth as usual,"I do not doubt that there are. If not exactly like it then similar.After this educational encounter I will not give chance for them to blink,move or shriek,rest assured." Standing up slowly with Miyuu scrambling up and running to the wall Armand hefts his trident up,slashing it through the air flicking off clinging droplets of blood,already aware their two comrades are no longer there.Giving Miyuu calm look he nods,"Yes.I shall check.." Closing his eyes Armand reaches for his bonded link with Saeth,bringing it to forefront of his mind.Silent communication passing after some minutes his eyes flash open,narrowed into a frown."They have blasted wall to escape,ending up going off cliff and are now somewhere below us." Relating rest of information in curt,short sentences Armand strides up to RuRu,kneeling near her and attempting to wake,keeping speaking with Miyuu,"This is all well organized trap..we must be extremely cautious..things are not what they seem here." Having no success with RuRu he sighs,hefting her up over his shoulder carelessly."Let us take only open way,this tunnel.Are you ready,Miyuu-chan?We must hurry and find way to reunite with Sae and Destadi-san. I fear they're in deep trouble." Moving for the tunnel Armand waits for Miyuu to join him,holding trident in one arm and securing Ruru with other.Feeling things wrong with Sae and getting worse he growls softly,low in his throat,a fully animalistic sound.Flexing his hand,claws sliding out longer he pulls back on his other nature,keeping fangs from elongating.A black kanji lights up in his right ruby eye,hard to notice unless one stands truly close.I shall tear throat of anyone harming my Bat.Rrrg...but he is with Espada # 10. And in worst case scenario...I can use that..if Saeth himself doesn't use that. Fierce look on his face he stands ready,dark blue hair fluttering on small breeze brushing past them.

~Meanwhile,with Armand and Miyuu~

Watching Armand while he communicates with Sae,have seen him doing so before,her lips quirk into a smile.'Nyah..his haircut still looks like a pineapple..heh,cute..but he's grown his hair out since last time..oi,suits him better..makes look more the grown up he is..' Tilting her head she listens quietly while he relates what Saeth said,mismatched cat eyes narrowing."Trap,is it...but who is it that's setting all this up..." Pausing she frowns suddenly,a thought striking her.'Wait..shinigami!! It was a shinigami watching them...Hollows simply turning into pseudo-Arrancars..like..some kind of..an..experiment..could it possibly be??..But..this doesn't seem..like their kind of thing..' Tail flicking from side to side in agitation Miyuu leans down,picking up and sheathing Aneitora,"I'm ready." Looking over at Armand,surprised at sudden animalistic growl she studies him for a moment,smirking. "Neh,yer looking all fierce and scary there, Armand-kun.Ready to tear monsters to pieces with bare hands." Stopping near him she raises one eyebrow,suddenly leaning in to gaze into his eyes,studying kanji appeared in his red eye,"Ah..haven't seen it in a while..neh,ya still have same eyes.. " Smirking slyly Miyuu doesn't elaborate further, instead moving down the tunnel. Ears standing on alert she listens for any movements,hand resting on Aneitora's hilt,at the ready.
