Investigation of the Structure.~Plot Mission 2.~

Shiro accepts Okamaru back and reclips him back to his side. "i'll make sure to let him know." he walks to the door and opens, uriko is standing right outside the door.

"?! ACK!!" Shiro jumps back a bit, "Wh-Wha!? Geez! Give me a heart attack why don't'cha?!?"

Seeing shiro right in the doorway her eyes widen.

"?!?! ACK!!!! SH-SHIRO?!?" uriko jumps back a little, "DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!!!" she stops realizing that they both said similar things at the same time.
"....um..... you're ok..... That's good." she hugs shiro tightly, "I thought.... you weren't going to make it! .... D-don't do something like that again! ...... you make us worry."

Looks down at uriko in surprise, then realizes he's being squeezed tightly.

"Ur-Uriko... I can't breath.." > <

Uriko blushes then lets go.

"sorry..... anyway... i'm glad you're ok...." ^^

Laughs,"Seems like you're much better.You should thank Uriko,it was her herbs that helped you."

Shiro looks at uriko, then bows.

(says formally) "Thank you uriko-san."

Blushes bright red.
"Uh-um.... you're..... w-welcome." (she stutters with embarressment)

Stifling another laughs she walks past them into the living room and looks around for the documents from the lab.Spying them on the floor she picks the papers up and sits down on the couch,studying them.

Shiro follow altria and sits on the couch. Cora scampers over and sits close to him. He rubs her head again then looks over at the papers, picking up the one on Destadi.

Reading through the papers her eyes widen with each passing moment.

Project Name:Perfect Form,codenamed Project Perfect.
Subjects Name:--yuu
Date:xx/xx/xxxx
Doctor -- (the name appears stricken through many times,making it illegible.)
Lab Entry #1
Subject detained via one of the many traps scattered through the H.M. and transported to this facility while unconscious.Examination revealed we were actually lucky to snag an Espada,whether current or ex matters not.Upon waking up it immediately tried to escape and quite amazingly almost succeeded.As this is the first Espada this facility has dealings with it became obvious we underestimated their strength.Luckily all Arrancars have slight weakness to kidou and in its weakened state was subdued.Special holding cell was immediately transported from the other facility,which had dealings with Espada before.

Finally,my efforts are starting to pay off,it appears the zanpakuto spirit is starting to awaken.This proves my theory that Arrancars already posses zanpakuto spirits,but they are simply dormant and asleep,unlike Dr.Mugo's theory that we would have to artificially create them,which could have proven impossible.This makes the task somewhat easier though still extremely difficult.Out of the 100 subjects only 10 achieved the desired result.An interesting side effect is the disappearance of the mask,instead this subject acquired cat ears and tail.Since it seemed to be a tiger Hollow before this is a rather interesting regression.The change appears to be only physical,however seeing as we are not overly familiar with the subjects normal behavior any psychological changes would be hard to determine.
Lab Entry #2
No more progress have been made,the subjects stubbornly refuses to cooperate and remains unresponsive no matter what we try.It is now my opinion that for better results we must find ways to either control or influence the zanpakuto spirit itself,without its cooperation further progress would be impossible,much less reaching the ---kai stage.I have however established for certain that having the subject be able to perform the release they call Ressureccion is imperative before proceeding to spirit awakening stage.

The whole week have proven disappointingly unproductive,the shinigami tests have run into a wall.We can get them to the masked stage but at the resu. stage all subject go insane.It appears the shift gives too much power to the dark self,it stifles and sometimes destroys the owners self.I am starting to wonder if the line between the two can really be removed?Surely it is possible,a soul is still a soul no matter the change it goes through.All souls are made up of same base matter.Perhaps a strong will and sense of self are needed,I have received reports of partial success from S.S. facility a while back.We must try harder.

Today's experiment of trying to teach the subject kidou proved mildly successful but with disastrous results.I should have suspected something back when the subject agreed to try and kept practicing without being prompted to.Shou,is a rather simple spell,however the force with which it was used was quite astonishing,my assistants suffered broken arms and ribs.We will now terminate any tries to teach them kidou until better methods of control are established.

We have lost the subject.It escaped or rather was rescued by the another.The experience was quite astonishing,as is the fact that its comrade was even able to find this facility.It was most frightful,its anger was a sight to behold.A demon from hell,that was the thought that crossed my mind.Most of the labs was destroyed and half the personnel killed.We'll be moving to a new location,the S.S. facility has agreed to accommodate us until a new place here can be developed seeing as all others are full.

"what's up guys..?"

Shiro looks up from the three pages on Destadi and stares at shin. "Research... i can't believe the crap they tried to do to Desta.... He actually cause the lab to be rebuilt after they failed to contain his overwhelming spirit energy." His eyes grow slightly dark, and then continues reading.

"This is..too horrible for words."Clutching the papers with slightly shaking hands she turned another page."They got hands on Miyuu too..and if this is right,there are more labs.."

"you know..... These papers here on destadi say that they had to move to the new lab because desta ended up destroying the first one........." shiro goes quiet. (in thought) 'Desta killed all but one of the scientists. but how he managed to escape from desta's out burst is beyond me.'

"Interesting,according to this they also had to move to new labs when someone broke in to rescue Miyuu and destroyed the whole place with most of personnel.So..just how many labs are there?"

"Did any information were shown from the papers of who they really are and what they are up to?"

"There's no group name except periodical mentions of doctors,but their names are completely unfamiliar to me.And what they were doing..if I understand correctly they were trying to make Arrancars more shinigami like,so they'd have shikai and bankai.And shingami research talks about some masks?..Removing the line between the two..."

"It says here in Destadi's paper that they were able to change him back into a 'whole' by means of a rare shard. Maybe........ "
Shiro gets a thoughtful expression on his face. "....... I think I've got it...... "
He smiles slyly. "They were using a shard of the Hogyoku. That's the only way they could've possibly pulled off an experiment like this."

"But the official records say it was destroyed.." Standing up she paces around the room,thinking out loud,"If they did it using shards then..each lab would need to have at least one..and who knows how many labs there are.Exactly how long has this been going on?Are higher ups aware of this..no,they wouldn't send me to investigate..then,it was done in secret.." An idea suddenly strikes her and she pauses mid step,"Wait..quite a few years ago,there was a huge scandal.The 12th division captain went missing under mysterious circumstances..and they never really found him.I remember Yueh telling me about it.."

shin wondering...

"so one suspect that we can came up with right now is this captain that you just said.."

"hm.... that depends.... how long has he been missing? that could severely affect our chances of finding him.... if he's still alive that is."
Shiro's look becomes cold and serious at the same time.

"A while..this way way back,right before I joined the academy.But unless he got killed he should be alive,shinigami have long lives after all.But all the information about his disappearance got classified..I think it's all stored in Research and Development departments main frame.."

Uriko eyes flick from Shiro to Altria then back again. she looks at the table and picks up one of the research papers. the name at the top of the paper is somewhat illegible except for a few letters. "Mi......... ..........ame" uriko looks carefully at the letters then proceeds to read the rest of the document.

Looking over the papers again she resumes pacing,not liking where her ideas lead."Anyway I look at these..it all comes down to the 12th division and The Department of Research and Development.Everything would be stored on the system so..what if..that information is still there?" She stops,looking at them seriously.
