Lured by faint light

Event Name: Lured by the faint light.
Goal of the event: Find a pair of dangerous Hollows and exterminate them.

Location: Human World-Beijin,China.
Story: Soul Soiety received reports of a pair of dangerous Hollows that often prey on the humans of a small town.Out of all the soul reapers sent to kill them only three came back.One in a delusional state,mumbling something about "fairy lights" and "monstrous spiders".Another was unconscious and still remains in a coma like state despite 4th division's best efforts.The last man collapsed after getting his two comrades back and died shortly for unknown reasons,his only injury was a sallow cut on the cheek.A simple extermination has now become a serious issue.Any soul reapers sent on this assignment are urged to be extra cautious.

Soul Society,around 10 in the morning

Rereading through the mission assignment in his hands Loki's face lit up with a grim smile."Perfect.I'll get revenge for you Jin,I swear.And there's just the person to help me do it too." Strapping on his zanpaku-to he heads out and towards Altria's quarters,knocking on her door loudly.

Landing lightly in the middle of a quiet street she's surprised to see it's already evening."This is..strange.Different time zones maybe?" Pulling out her Soul Pager she flicks it open,scanning the area for Hollow signatures.

"Oh darn, i should've ask them to wait for me...i didn't know i'll be done this early..well anyway, better get there now."

Arriving at the destination Loki takes a survey of the area.Sensing nothing out of the ordinary yet he's about to ask if the other two feel anything when a glimmer seen from corner of the eye catches his attention.Turning quickly he stares at a curios red glowing orb floating further up the street.It pulses and then fades from view completely."Woah.Hey,hey,guys did you see that?"

Snapping the pager shut and hiding it away she looks around."See what?" Something red glowing faintly from the street corner falls into her line of sight."Huh?What is.." She quickly flash steps towards it,looking around in surprise when there's nothing there."I could have sworn.."

There's a chuckle in the air and three groups of glowing orbs appear around Loki,Shiro and Altria.They pulse faintly before speeding off in three different directions.

Staring wide eyed at the suddenly appeared orbs Loki jumps back in surprise when they take off."!! Guys,we gotta follow them.I'll take that group!" Using flash step he follow one of the groups,quickly disappearing from sight.

"Ah..wait!" Calling out too late she shakes her head."No choice then..Shiro if something happens raise your reiatsu,I'll do same." Turning in the direction the other group of lights went in she flash steps after it.However,no matter how hard she tried the lights somehow always managed to stay ahead,leading her on a high speed chase around town for a whole hour.Finally ending up at the edge of a forest strewn behind the town she collapses against a tree slightly dizzy,trying to catch her breath as the lights disappear into the wood. "Huff..huff..damn..huff..what is this..huff..some kind of..sick joke?"

"Finally here...where are they?"

Shiro notices Shin, " Ah! hey! help us chase those orbs!" Shiro chases after a separate group of orbs.

Finally managing to calm down her wildly beating heart she watches the orbs shimmering faintly somewhere in the forest."Like damn fairy lights..wait..didn't one of them said that?" Frowning she cautiously moves into the forest.

Shiro slams into Altria knocking them both to the ground as the group of orbs rushes past. "oomf! .... Ow.." he shakes his head, and realizes he landed on top of Altria. " Oh! Sorry!" he rolls off and gets to his feet. " So so sorry."

"Uwah.." Sprawled on the ground she stares at the sky dizzily for a while."Uh..that hurt..."

Shiro kneels next to Altria and offers his hand," do you... need any help Altria?"

Blinking she stares at Shiro for a minute before grabbing his hand and pulling him down as well."Nope.." Chuckling she gets up slightly wobbly,rubbing her head. "Sheesh..you sure barreled in..like running into a wall.Any luck with those lights?I chased mine all over town for nothing.."

"What's going on?"

Shiro face plants the ground, and gets a mouth full of grass. "!! ptthhhhhhhh!! Ewww!!! gross!" he turns away from Altria and splutters out the grass. " Not- PLLITTTTTHHHt! - Cool!"

"Heh,don't keep your mouth open then." Snickering she motions to the forest." You finished fast Shin.Some red orbs appeared when we got into town and we chased after them..but they disappeared into the forest.I guess we have to go in but.." She looks at the forest slightly worried.

Shiro finally stops spitting out grass, and gets up dusting himself off. ".... hmph....." he seems a little more like his old self. " you haven't changed a bit Altria-san." He continues dusting himself off. (he sounded more like his Arrancar self by the way XD)

At Shiro's words she turns to look at him sharply."Changed?Why in the world would I change,Shiro?I am only me and shall always remain myself.But,"she places a hand on her chest,"even if I did change," pointing the other hand at him she continues,"how would this you know?" Smiling sadly she turns away."Please don't call me -san.Coming from you that sounds," her voice wavers slightly,ending in a whisper,"wrong." Without another word she proceeds down a faintly visible trail leading deeper into the forest.

Groaning Loki opens his eyes.Pushing up from his upside down position against the tree he spits out something that tastes suspiciously like dirt."Blerg,what the hell??" Rubbing sore head he stands up,taking in the surrounding while simultaneously patting off dirt from the shihakusho. "This is,the forest?That's right!I was chasing those damn lights through the town and ended up here,running into a tree.Whoops..ha ha haha." Sweat-dropping,Raijin's angry voice starts berating him.You are a complete idiot! Worthless fool,why must I suffer your idiocy?Sorry..sorry,already. I can feel the rest of the guys near by,let's go find them.
Loki quickly sets out to reunite with everyone else.

The forest begins filling with thick white mist,making it hard to see anything even a few feet ahead.Further on the path Altria is taking a red glowing orb reappears,luring towards itself.

Following altria and shiro

"Yep, I kinda finished the thing that I was doing. by the way, where is loki-kun?"

Shiro seems confused, (in thought) '..... th-this me? ..... erg.....' He shakes his head trying to clear his thoughts, ' no........ erg..... why.... why do these images continue to come?!....... rrg!!!' He breaks off and heads a separate way. He continues to wonder when more and more memories from his past emerge. (in thought) 'ERG!!! NO.... MORE!!!!!' he sees a white light appear then chases after it. '! a light! .... uhg... forget about the visions for now.. I'll worry 'bout them later'

Looking at the fog in worry as the path seems to disappear in it she stops,unable to see anything ahead.A red glow appears and seeing no other choice she cautiously moves towards it.There's a woosh in the air and she draws Tsukiyomi,parrying some kind of projectile that immediately disappears into the fog.Looking around she raises the blade,taking a defensive stance.

Getting lost in the foggy forest quickly he moves around blindly,running into Altria. "Ooof..ouch.." falling over he quickly gets up."Altria!I was looking for you guys.^^" Extremely happy he hugs her tightly for a long minute.There's a hissing sound in the air and many small objects suddenly streak towards them through the air.With the mist making it difficult to see anything he quickly unsheathes Raijin,using him as a shield to dodge the objects.One of them lodges into a tree,it appears to be a long needle like spike.

As Shiro is chasing the white light a long tentacle wraps around his leg suddenly,pulling him into the air with a jerk.A looming shadowy outline of some creature it belongs too can be barely seen through the thick mist.

Grabbing a tree trunk as to not fall over when Loki crashes into her Altria almost falls in surprise when he hugs her,dropping Tsukiyomi."Gah..let go.." As they are attacked by the projectiles she quickly bends down,grabbing her zanpakuto and uses it to parry them."What is this..."

"Guys, stay back, I'll try if kido will work in this fog."

shin stays back a little and faces the fog. with both hands facing the fog, he casts a kido. He uses a little reiatsu to avoid any critical damages and just to put away the fog
