-Babysitting `

Event Name: Babysitting.
Goal of the event: Find out what happened at the secret lab.
Specific Users: No.But you should have a good reason for being there.
Location:Human World-New York,USA
Mission type: Normal type mission,possibly a side mission.
Story:
12th division has been recently working on some secret project that's deemed so dangerous they obtained permission to open a lab in the human world.Two days ago all contact with the lab has been lost.Your task is to venture into the lab and find out what happened.Possibly the 12 scientists working inside need to be rescued.Remain alert,the lab is full of traps.The lab is underground,underneath an abandoned warehouse called "Pogo" at the edge of town.

Picking up his new goggles Loki places them on top of his head."Let's see..goggles-check.Soul phone-check.
Supplies.." He pats his pockets. "Check.What else.." Taking a 360 turn around the room he grins."Nothing. Time to head out."

Wondering around the abandoned warehouses on the outskirts of town Altria realizes she's quite lost,having no luck finding the needed building."Arg!Why couldn't they include a map or something.This is so stupid..I hate 12th anyway,so why do they send me each time!" Frustrated she hits a wall,leaving a large dent,before continuing on.

Far from the mission location, Shin is scouting the area for hollow disturbances.



(note: shin always volunteers in scouting a place, most of time USA, if he has free time and also just to avoid boredomness.)

Shiro is wandering around, and seems to have gotten lost. 'er.... maybe I took a wrong turn." He looks around but only seems to get more lost.

(note: Shiro almost always goes on missions with Altria. usually it's because he has nothing else to do.)

Loki's lazily sitting on top of the roof,having arrived at the needed place some minutes before."They said something about giving this mission to couple people..maybe they're having trouble finding this place?" Loki raises his reiatsu so it's blazing like a yellow beacon, hoping it would help others find the place faster.Bored,he pulls on the goggles on top of his head. They were of special make,having different modes of view that included infrared,thermal, zooming, night vision,spirit energy reading and a couple more.Sitting comfortably he cycles through each one.

Suddenly feeling a reiatsu signature come to life she concentrates on it. "That's..Loki..I don't feel any Hollows near him so..oh,I get it.He must also be on this mission,letting others know where the warehouse is." Relieved at not having to wonder around lost anymore she jumps up,rebounding of the walls until she reaches the rooftops.Landing on the rusting metal lightly she orients in the direction of the reiatsu and flash steps towards it.Reaching it quickly she suddenly appears near Loki."Hey.Thanks for that,I was rather lost." Noticing him playing with the goggles she leans closer,curious."What's this?They look a little different from your usual ones."

scouting from different areas, he felt loki's reiatsu. Unaware of the mission, he wonders what loki is doing in that area. From curiousity, he follows it leading it to the warehouse. Seeing loki with altria, he approaches them.

"Hey guys, what's up?"

Expecting Altria to pop up because his goggles picked up her reiatsu signature from some distance Loki's not surprised.Not wishing to drain the battery he clicks them off for the time being and pulls back on top of his head."Altria-chan, so you're my partner?Wishes do come true.Is anyone else coming?And it's no biggie. Those warehouses are like a maze,I figured someone would get lost." Tapping the goggles he smirks."I'm glad you asked.It's a spare pair I modified. They have different modes of view that included infrared,thermal, zooming, night vision,spirit energy reading and a couple more.Made them myself,they work perfectly and without a hitch.Pretty cool,huh?" At Shins approach he lifts an arm in greeting. "Shin-san, fancy running into you here.We're on a mission. Underneath this warehouse is a secret lab 12th division got special permission to make because of some super dangerous experiment they're working on.Two days ago all contact with it was lost. We are to go in,determine what the duse happened and see if anyone needs rescuing.Oh,and the place is full of traps." Loki grins. "Wanna come?It promises to be a fun adventure."

with excitement, shin runs to them.

"Mission eh? Cool! I have anything to go anyway so I'll go."

shin lands on the roof and is set to go.

Shiro senses Loki's reiatsu and then flash-steps towards it, appearing by Altria. "oh... hey."

She smiles playfully,a teasing note in her tone,"Oh wow,that has to be a record.An invention of yours and it did not explode and go up in smoke in any way or form.Or take off someones body part.Or rain confetti.Or attack innocent pedestrians.Or turn your hair rainbow color.It just does what it's supposed too?You deserve an award just for that! Or..is it because you modified the goggles and not invent?" At Shins appearance she nods,"Hello Shin.Out patrolling?" As Loki explains about the mission a familiar presence tugs at her senses before Shiro appears."Oh,Shiro...you're on this mission too?"

Shiro looks confused, "uh no actually.... I just happened to come here, and well, you weren't around... so..." he doesn't know how to finish his sentence and is trying to find a way to explain.

She smiles teasingly,"Missed me,hmm?" Getting a strange feeling she glances around but seeing nothing unusual shakes it off."So you'll come,right?But..you should know we're going into a lab..a legal one but a lab nonetheless."

"oh." Shiro has an uneasy look on his face. "yeah I'll come... and yes... I kinda missed ya." he blushes a bit.

Smiling she hugs Shiro whispering,"Don't worry.Nothing's going to happen," before pulling away."Ok,it's just us so might as well get started. Now,communication cut off 2 days ago and there were 12 scientists inside.We'll have to be careful as there traps and who knows what they were working on. That's about it,let's go." Jumping down from the roof she walks into the abandoned warehouse.Inside is pretty empty except for some strange,rusting pieces of metal and a few piles of rubble."There should be a hidden entrance somewhere inside.." Walking around she scans the area carefully for any signs of it.

Shiro follows in after Altria, "secret entrance?" he also scans the area looking for something odd or out of the ordinary. "huh..." he starts tapping random places on a wall.

Ignoring Altria's teasing Loki gets up."Nice,the more people the easier this should be.Let's go then." Dropping down he enters the warehouse,taking a look around.Nothing suspicious stands out to him.Pulling down the goggles he clicks them on,activating one of the mods.A patch of the floor underneath a huge piece of scrap metal glows bright blue."Hey,guys.There's something over there.We need to move that metal thingy." He points at it.

Looking in the direction Loki's pointing,there's a huge piece of scrap metal. Coming up to it she gathers spirit energy around her left hand and points it at the metal,"Hadou #1-Shou" As it's hit with a blast of spirit energy the metal is pushed all the way back,sliding across the ground with a screeching sound.A square outline is revealed on the floor,faintly visible."Alright,nice job with goggles Loki.Guess they do work." Kneeling she runs a hand along the outline," These must be the doors..but how do we open them?"

"Well, if there isn't any button then let's just bomb it all the way."

shin giggles as he tries to say that.

"Great idea,I'm all for it!" With an eager look Loki pulls out two things that look like small metal balls."How big an explosion do you want?This one has more bang but it's also loud and might make your ears bleed.This one is quieter and less powerful,it uses sound so you be disoriented for a bit.So which one do we use?Or would you like something with more bang?"

Altria goes pale."No,Shin,please don't say that in front of.." She sighs as Loki goes off.'Too late..better stop him quick.' Standing up she walks up to Loki and snatches the balls away."No!We use neither!I'd like to live a little more,thank you very much. Do something useful instead,like use those goggles and see if you can spot release mechanism.The rest of us will also look around." Turning around she attentively scans the area for anything that might be what they need.

Shiro completely ignores the converstation and goes up to the doors that have been pushed back. "hm... heh... I can do this." He whips out his kunai and whispers something to it. It glows white with an incredible heat. "ok... now!" he stabs it into the door and carves away a rectangular section. *his kunai was so hot it cut through the dorr like butter* he returns his kunai back to normal then pushes the cut rectangle out of the door creating an opening. "hey guys! It's open!" he walks through the opening in the door.

"Nice work Shiro." Following after him she cautiously steps through,hiding the metal spheres behind a piece of metal on the way.

Hiding his disappointment at a chance to use his explosives invention Loki climbs in after them,going down the steps in rising excitement.They end in a small white room,empty but for the terminal on a wall and a large metal door.Examining it he smirks mockingly."Can't believe they're using such simple security system." He taps a few keys.There's a loud clang,signifying unlocking."Easy as pie.But,because we didn't use an ID card the traps were not disarmed.So watch were you step." Clicking scanner vision on in the goggles he walks up to the door.It slides open.A body of someone dressed in a lab coat falls forward from where it was leaning on the door on the other side.
(OOC:ok,whoever examines it can make up what it looks like.Only two things are important: a)the scientists's dead and b) wounds indicate it was a zanpakutou that killed him.)

Following the steps down into the bare room she tries to sense if there's anything beyond the door while Loki works on opening it,taking heed of his warning about active traps.At the loud click she moves towards the door,stifling a surprised exclamation as a body of a scientist crumples forward,the hallway ahead has walls streaked with blood."What the hell?" Kneeling,she examines it,checking for pulse.There is none,a large slashing wound on the back the reason for it.She looks up at the others confused."He's..dead..and this wound..it's from a zanpakuto!"
